RI RSCM Choristers lead Diocese Conv Eucharist, Nov 11, 2011

The first ever Eucharist led by the Rhode Island RSCM Choristers opening the 2011, R.I. Diocese Convention was a very spiritually moving event for all involved and before the postlude, Bishop Geralyn Wolf invited Priscilla Rigg, a.k.a The Queen Mother, to the altar for a special surprise; the conferring of an Honorary degree of Doctor of Music by the trustees of the St. Dunstan School of Sacred Music, Diocese of Rhode Island for her 47 years of service to St. Luke's, East Greenwich and all Rhode Island Churches at large as Director of the Royal School of Church Music America, Newport Course, now the second largest in the U.S.  See photos...See more photos by Ruth Meteer on Facebook: 2011 Diocesan Convention Opening Eucharist
