Summer Camp 2010 Information
EDS Summer Camp 2010
Camps are for children ages 3-6yrs
Camp#1 "Taking Science Outside", July 7-9, 9am-1pm
Taking Science outdoors is natural! Our five senses will come alive as we explore nature to engage in scientific inquiry. Such encounters, large and small, can have an impact that lasts a lifetime!
Camp#2 "Kid's Natural History", July 28-30, 9am-1pm
Grab hold of your curiousity and bring along plenty of imagination as we explore 570 million years of animal life. Dinosaurs, fossils, mammoths and more.
Camp#3 "Paint Without Brushes", August 18-20, 9am-1pm
Children will engage in stimulating and imaginative painting experiences using various props, textures and mediums. We’ll go far beyond the paint jar and brush encouraging exploration into the world of paint.
Registration Information:
Registration is on a first come, first serve basis.
The cost for each camp is $100 per child (+$25 for sibling). Please complete the registration form and send it in to the office with your deposit(s). A $25 nonrefundable deposit for each camp is required by June 11th, 2010, with the remaining balance due at start of each camp. You will receive a camp information package once your child is registered. Payments are by check only, made out to Emmanuel Church, 42 Dearborn St., Newport, RI 02840.
