Liz McCarthy

In 2016, Liz moved to Newport after retiring from a career in the hospitality field and joined Emmanuel. She is

a graduate of Cornell’s School of Hotel Administration with a BA and from Champlain College, Burlington VT

with a Master in Business. Her career included restaurant ownership, event management, sales and conference

planning. During her career she has lived in Ithaca, NY, Boston, Breckenridge, Colorado, Santa Cruz,

California, Stowe, Vermont, and Falmouth, MA before arriving in Newport. Liz enjoys walking around

Newport, especially to church, playing golf and bridge, and contributing to the Emmanuel community.
